Spectrum Day 3!
Today I finished my Modern Mythology project (I think it’s my favorite Creative Writing, so far!). Mine was the myth of Arachne, when she got turned into a spider. I made it like a radio news show and got to record it. I was the main reporter, then there was Arachne, Athena, and the meteorologist, who were played by different people. I think we did a great job, and I can’t wait to hear it in the show at the end! I think my work is much better than it was last year. On Monday we made rhyming poems inspired by Roald Dahl’s “Revolting Rhymes”.
In Visual Arts we made pinch-pot monsters out of clay. My monster has one eye, and will have a leafy mane around his neck. He’s sitting down and has two legs. He turned out better than I thought he would. I’m excited to finish building him!
